Calligrapher, Andrea Steiner has lived and worked in Milwaukee, WI as a freelance artist for 30 years, primarily in the lettering and book arts, having studied with nationally recognized calligraphers.

One of the founders of Cream City Calligraphers, she has participated in numerous solo and juried exhibits in the midwest, and various publications have included her work. She has taught at the Milwaukee Art Museum, MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design), and in the public schools.

Her work is primarily commissioned, and includes the design of Resolutions, Awards, Certificates, Invitations, Programs, Menus and one-of-a-kind books.

Andrea is passionate in her work, emphasizing simplicity in form - setting the text as the primary focus.
